Good Morning Jaguars!

I hope you are all doing well.  Please keep an eye out for important emails from our principal, Mr. Curley, and our superintendent, Ms. Howard, on updates regarding our school closing.  Here is a brief section of the most recent email that was sent out this morning:

"The importance of daily engagement in learning and the maintenance of learning routines cannot be overstated.  While we cannot replicate the learning experiences students are afforded when learning in our schools, there is a large variety of resources that can keep them cognitively engaged and learning.  In response to the prolonged closure of our schools, the principals of each school have been meeting and working on compiling a list of learning resources for students at each grade level.  Each school’s website will post a list of recommended curriculum resources by grade level.  For the Middle School’s list of recommended resources - please go to our school website and scroll down under the “announcement” section (click HERE).  In addition to what we have listed, the vast majority of educationally related websites have expanded access and opportunities for students.  With that in mind, we encourage you to be resourceful in exploring any educational site that may be of interest.  As always teacher emails are available on our school website should it be necessary to contact him/her."

**Again, students should continue to check in with their Google Classrooms for updates on learning opportunities as teachers will be posting as needed.**

For reference, here are some important emails:
Mr. Curley,  Principal - bcurley@winthrop.k12.ma.us

Ms. Schultheis,  Jaguar ELA & SS teacher - mschultheis@winthrop.k12.ma.us

We are here if you have any questions!  If we cannot answer questions, we will be happy to connect you with the right resources to help answer them for you.

Keep up the good work jaguars!!

Best,
Mr. Brown, Ms. Schultheis, Ms. E Foley
